We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Leasing Intern to join our team. This hands-on internship offers real-world experience in residential leasing, community management, and digital marketing. You'll work directly alongside our leasing professionals, gaining exposure to every aspect of apartment leasing and resident relations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
Leasing & Sales
- Assist in leasing apartments by guiding prospective residents through the application and approval process.
- Conduct engaging property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting community features and available units.
- Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a timely and professional manner.
- Help maintain accurate records of leads, applications, and leasing activity in the property management system.
- Support the team in meeting monthly occupancy and leasing goals.
- Create engaging content for Olive & Wooster's social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Photograph and highlight apartment units, community amenities, and resident events for digital marketing purposes.
- Assist in developing and scheduling social media posts to promote availability, community culture, and leasing specials.
- Monitor social media engagement and help respond to comments and inquiries online.
- Support the creation of email campaigns and digital flyers to attract prospective residents.
- Help plan, organize, and host resident events that foster a welcoming and engaged community.
- Assist in coordinating event logistics including vendors, supplies, and scheduling.
- Actively participate in events and serve as a brand ambassador for Olive & Wooster.
- Gather resident feedback and communicate with the team to continuously improve the resident experience.
- Support move-in and move-out coordination to ensure a seamless resident journey.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Outgoing and personable with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Passionate about social media and comfortable creating content across multiple platforms.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Customer-focused with a genuine enthusiasm for helping people find their perfect home.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace; experience with Canva or Adobe a plus.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends as needed.
- Prior experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality is a plus but not required.
- Hands-on training and mentorship from experienced leasing professionals.
- Real-world experience in residential real estate leasing and property management.
